Announcements: Special thanks to today’s caterers, Carolyn and Ron Dodd and Barb Parry. Thank you as well to the Sali’s for assistance with set-up and door duties.
Returning Officer: J ean Russell reported that as there were 82 members in attendance that was enough to constitute a quorum so elections could proceed.
Minutes of the 2012 Annual General Meeting held March 16, 2012 of the Probus Club of Nanoose Bay were read by acting secretary Barbara Wilson. Muriel Gustavson moved and Liz Mogenson, seconded that the Minutes be accepted as read. All in favour.
Treasurer’s Report: Bo Hakanson presented his report for the past fiscal year. Tony Ransom moved and Linda Windrim seconded that the 2012 Financial Report be accepted as circulated. All in Favour.
A letter from John Patterson, Financial Reviewer for the 2012 fiscal year was read by the secretary. The financial status of the club is well in order. Anne Larson moved and Eleanor Bell seconded that John Patterson be appointed as the Financial Reviewer for the upcoming year, 2014. All in favour.
Nominating Committee Report: Doree Kustra reported that the Nominating Committee was able to find members to fill each of the vacant positions and asked Elinor Motta to proceed with the elections. The positions to be filled and nominees are:
- Vice President: Tony Ransom
- Secretary: Judie Taylor
- Speakers Chair: Jack Hill
As there were no nominations from the floor for these positions, Eleanor declared the election closed and all nominees were elected by acclamation. Due to the absence of a number of the Management Committee, a proper thank you and introduction of the new Management Committee will be conducted at the April General Meeting.

- Past President: Sharon Vincent
- Secretary: Judie Taylor
- Treasurer: Bo Hakanson Membership:

- Speakers Chair: Jack Hill

- Social Convenor: Anne Larson
- Sunshine Committee: Phyllis Horne/Pam Cochrane
As there was no further business, Doree moved that the Annual General Meeting be adjourned. All in favour.
