Guest Speaker:
Jim Watson introduced our guest speaker, Lisa Leger, who is a Natural Health Consultant at the Parksville PharmasaveShe has offered public education about natural health care for over 25 years.  Her topic today is “A Sensible Look at Natural Medicine”.
Her hope is to build a bridge between doctors’ traditional medicine and natural approaches to health, and help us understand the benefits of both. One of her concerns is that with traditional medicine, many doctors will keep adding medications to a patient’s regime, but neglect to provide guidelines on how to wean off previous medication.  Lisa’s vast knowledge of vitamins and supplements, as well as herbal remedies presents a choice for blending both types of treatment.  To investigate further, Lisa suggested using the link  scolar.google.ca
Jim thanked Lisa for her extremely informative presentation, and was quite sure that many of us would be visiting her at Pharmasave.
