Membership:
Alida Sali reported our membership is full at 181 members. Ten of our members did not renew for 2017. As a result, the first 10 people on the waiting list will become our newest members.

Guest Speaker Roger Griffiths was introduced by Ian Maxwell.

The title of Roger’s presentation, “Five Old Mountain Men”, gave us a surprise. These men are all in their 70’s, all good friends from Qualicum Beach, and each year they fly into a remote alpine location in a different area of BC for a six day hiking/camping trip. The photographic images of the rugged landscapes, the flora and fauna, and the comraderie of this team were a delight to watch.

Ian Maxwell thanked Roger for the humourous and educational presentation that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
