Presentation Summary

BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of the BC Cancer Agency, providing support for life-saving research and enhancements to care. William Litchfield and Jane Evans are grateful for the opportunity to share, with members of the club, an update on the world-class cancer research, treatment and care we are so fortunate to have at our Victoria Cancer Centre. They will update us on the impact of the PET/CT scanners and other new equipment that are now in operation, thanks to the generous support of many Vancouver Island residents, and the advancements in the Immunotherapy research that have the world’s attention. In addition, we will learn about exciting new initiatives on the horizon for the Victoria Cancer Centre, such as the latest companion technology for the PET/CT scanners that is transforming treatment of prostate cancer.
